Camper on Horse

Offered annually, the Youth Summer Horsemanship Camps are geared towards equine enthusiasts who are 10-15 years of age. Campers stay in the dorms on main campus, eat in the dining halls and receive classroom/riding instruction from both equine faculty and current students.

Campers have the option to bring their own horse or lease a school horse, ride english, western, or both and spend the duration of camp as an overnight camper or a day camper. Students who are 16 – 17 can join us as day campers!

Pre-registration for summer 2023 will open February 1st at 9 am. Follow the links below!

Camp registration will be done through a pre-registration process. Campers wishing to pre-register will do so through Eventbrite links made available the day pre-registration opens. Official registration will be processed in the order pre-registrations are received by a camp representative. Following the pre-registration, you will receive a phone call to secure your spot and lease horse, if they are available. It is recommended that you pre-register early for the best chance of getting of securing a lease horse. Again, pre-registration will be processed in the order they are received.

2023 pre-registration will open February 1st at 9 am!

Please note, completing the pre-registration does not guarantee a lease horse. You will be contacted shortly following your pre-registration to secure your spot or be placed on a waitlist. Please be patient, as this process can take a bit of time. Contact Sarah Matlock regarding any summer camp registration questions.
