We are pleased to offer private tours of the Equine Center for prospective students and their families. Please email Equine Sciences to schedule a tour of our ETRC facilities. Be sure to read the current guidelines for tours below.

Please be advised that all main campus tours are currently suspended due to COVID-19. For updates on Admissions events, please visit admissions.colostate.edu/covid19.

How to Schedule a Tour...

Lesson Over

Tours of the Equine Sciences program are separate from main campus tours. Our tours include an overview of the program and a walk-through of the facilities.  They take approximately 1 hour.

In order to maintain COVID-19 safety guidelines, the tours will only be given outside/in open air barns, with the guests and tour provider being at least 6 feet apart. All guests will be required to wear masks for the duration of their time on the property, fill out the symptom form/waiver, and have their temps checked upon arrival. We will frequently use the hand sanitizing stations placed throughout the ETRC before, during, and after the tour.

Tours will be by appointment only and are only offered to a prospective student and one accompanying guardian. Only one prospective family will be permitted for each tour. Prospective family’s contact information including name, phone number, and email are always recorded at the time of scheduling the tour. Families are sent an email reminder the day prior to their tour of the COVID-19 guidelines they will be required to follow during their visit.

Despite the challenges, we are very pleased to be able to offer in-person visits. Please email Equine Sciences to schedule a tour of our ETRC facilities today!
