Adam Daurio is an accomplished executive director and attorney, with experience in, knowledge of, and passion for the rodeo, equestrian, and agricultural industries. Daurio has been part of the Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies industry for the past ten years, first as a consultant and board member, then as an executive director of the SaddleUp! Foundation (a non-profit corporation based in Parker, CO that provides outpatient therapies and equine assisted activities) from 2010 to 2014. Daurio is also a member of the American Quarter Horse Foundation’s EAAT Task Force. From 2004 to 2010, Daurio’s legal practice included agricultural law, real estate and business law, general contracts, non-profit organization, and western lifestyle consultation.
Daurio received undergraduate degrees in Agricultural Extension and Agricultural Economics, from Colorado State University, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming Law School. Daurio is currently a member of the board of directors for the Colorado Horse Council and the Colorado State Fair Foundation, and a member of the Development Committee for the National Western Stock Show. Additionally, his philanthropic work includes volunteering for 4-H, Volunteers of America, Kempe Foundation, YMCA, Bridgeway Homes, Susan G. Komen, Families First, and Global Down Syndrome Foundation.
Daurio enjoys showing quarter horses in western all-around, reining and cowhorse events, as well as being an avid boot camp and crossfit fitness participant. He lives in Parker, CO with his wife Jennifer, their two dogs and five horses.
